Special Keys
These special keys are available on the retractable keyboard and the touch screen keyboard.
Key Name
Description
Arrows (Left, Right,
Up, and Down)
ï‚§ Annotates anatomy or areas of interest on the image when the annotation function is active.
ï‚§ Pages through online Help.
Special Keys on the Retractable Keyboard
Key Name
Description
Blank Accesses special characters located on the alphanumeric keyboard.
Note: This key is blank on English keyboards.
Text Start
(Space Bar)
Activates the annotation function.
When the Annotation function is active, inserts a blank space at current position of the text
cursor.
Alt
Provides access to special characters required for some languages when used in combination
with the alphanumeric keys.
Note: This key is labeled Alt Gr on non-English keyboards.
Alt Gr (Available only on non-English keyboards)
Accesses special characters located on the alphanumeric keyboard.
Delete Last Word Deletes the last word or annotation.
Browser Opens or closes the patient registration browser.
Use the patient browser to retrieve patient data and to enter information in the patient
registration form.
System Config Opens or closes the system configuration menu.
Use the system configuration menu to modify and customize general ultrasound system
settings, image annotation, and calculation settings.
