B - 8 Instructions for Use
Operating Mode Controls
Note: Press the control once to activate the function. Rotate the control to adjust the gain. The
description for each control includes any additional actions. For example, double-click describes the
action of pressing a control twice in rapid succession.
2D (2D-Mode)
 Activates 2D-mode gray scale imaging except during 3D or 4D imaging.
 During zoom, restores a magnified image to the original size.
 During system freeze, reactivates image acquisition.
 During 3D or 4D, displays the 3D or 4D setup screen.
 During 4D, cancels acquisition and redisplays the setup selections.
 During stress echo, pauses the stress echo protocol.
C (Color)
 Activates or exits Color Doppler.
Note: Use the touch screen to activate either Color Doppler Velocity (CDV) or
Color Doppler Energy (CDE).
 During 3D or 4D, rotates the selected quadrant around the x-axis when you rotate the
control.
