Virtual Touch Quantification Measurements
Virtual Touch quantification provides a set of shear velocity and elasticity measurement labels
for abdomen exams:
 Up to four sites for generic locations
 Up to four lesions
 Up to 9 liver segments based on the Couinaud segmentation system
After each measurement, the system displays a counter below the image to indicate the
number of valid measurements and the total number of all measurements assigned to each
liver assessment measurement label. A valid measurement is any measurement that displays a
numerical value in the measured results.

To label then measure shear velocity or elasticity:
1. Display the liver assessment measurement labels:
● Select Liver Assessment.
○ For systems without a touch screen, press SELECT and then click Liver
Assessment. Or, rotate MENU to select Liver Assessment.
2. Select the required measurement label from the list.
3. Press UPDATE.
The system displays the measurement in the measured results.
