M-Mode Parameter Selections
Selection Description
Sweep Speed Sweep Speed
Adjusts the scrolling speed of the M-mode sweep.
ï‚§ NTSC: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8
ï‚§ PAL: 1, 2, 5, 7, 8
Note: For systems without a touch screen, the selection is on the LED panel.
Edge Edge Enhancement
Distinguishes the contours of a structure during imaging.
ï‚§ 0 (none)
ï‚§ 1 to 3
Maps Selects a processing curve that assigns echo amplitudes to gray levels.
ï‚§ A, B, C, D, E, F, G
Tint
Changes the color of the M-mode sweep by adding blue, red, yellow, or green to the gray in a
gray map.
ï‚§ Available settings: transducer-dependent
THI Tissue Harmonic Imaging
Enables or disables the Tissue Harmonic Imaging feature, used to enhance contrast
resolution.
Full Screen Trace Full Screen Trace
Activates a full-screen format for the M-mode sweep.
Note: For systems without a touch screen, the selection is assigned to a button:
Split Screen Split Screen
Displays both the 2D-mode image and the M-mode sweep.
Note: For systems without a touch screen, the selection is assigned to a button:
Full Screen 2D Full Screen 2D
Activates a full-screen format for the 2D-mode image.
Note: For systems without a touch screen, the selection is assigned to a button:
