D - 32 Instructions for Use
DVR Menu Selections and Status Indicators

Selection Description
(current status) Displays the current status of the media:
 Ready indicates the device and media are ready for recording.
 Recording indicates the device is currently recording images.
 Finalized indicates the media can be played on another device, such as an external
DVD player or computer equipped with a DVD drive. New recordings cannot be saved
to the media.
(current time remaining
on media)
Displays the estimated time (in hours and minutes) remaining for recording before media
space is filled.
(current space used on
media)
Displays the percentage of space used on the media.
Displays the viewer screen for playback.
Finalize Prepares the contents of the media for playback on other devices.
Ejects the media from the recording device.
Recording Icons
The ultrasound system displays the following icons in the image menu.
Indicates the device is recording.
Storage Space Warning
Indicates the media is nearly filled.
Disk is full. Insert new DVR media.
Indicates the media is filled. To continue recording, you must insert new media.
Disk is finalized. Unable to record.
Indicates the media is finalized. New recordings cannot be saved to the media.
