show l2protocol-tunnel
show l2protocol-tunnel
Use the show l2protocol-tunnel user EXEC command to display information about Layer 2 protocol
tunnel ports. Displays information for interfaces with protocol tunneling enabled.
show l2protocol-tunnel [interface interface-id] [summary]
Note This command is not supported on switches running the LAN base feature set.

Usage Guidelines After enabling Layer 2 protocol tunneling on an access or IEEE 802.1Q tunnel port by using the
l2protocol-tunnel interface configuration command, you can configure some or all of these parameters:
• Protocol type to be tunneled
• Shutdown threshold
• Drop threshold
If you enter the show l2protocol-tunnel [interface interface-id] command, only information about the
active ports on which all the parameters are configured appears.
If you enter the show l2protocol-tunnel summary command, only information about the active ports
on which some or all of the parameters are configured appears.
Examples This is an example of output from the show l2protocol-tunnel command:

interface interface-id (Optional) Specify the interface for which protocol tunneling information
appears. Valid interfaces are physical ports and port channels; the port
channel range is 1 to 48.
summary (Optional) Display only Layer 2 protocol summary information.
