The floating piston must be positioned at exactly this
point when the rod is fully extended; otherwise, damage
will occur during compression of the shock absorber.
– Remove the special tool.

Hold the damper so that the filling port is at the high-
est point.
– Remove the adapter.

Mount screw

with the O-ring and tighten.
Guideline
Filling port screw M10x1 14 Nm (10.3 lbf ft)

turns, but do not tighten it fully yet.

– Fix the special tool in the vise.

– Connect the special tool to the pressure regulator of the filling
cylinder.
Filling gas - nitrogen
– Adjust the pressure regulator.
Guideline
Gas pressure 10 bar (145 psi)
– Position the damper in the special tool.

– Fill the damper for at least 15 seconds.
