– Remove all dowels.

Remove shaft seal ring

of the crankshaft.

Remove lock ring

Remove screws

. Remove the bearing retainers.
– Clean the engine case section thoroughly.
– Warm the engine case section in an oven.
Guideline
180 °C (356 °F)
–
Knock the engine case section against a level wooden board.
This will cause the bearings to drop out of the bearing seats.

Any bearings that remain in the engine case section
must be removed using a suitable tool.

Blow out lubrication bore

with compressed air and check
that it is clear.
– Insert the new cold bearings in the bearing seats of the heated
section of the engine case; if necessary, use a suitable press
drift to push them all the way in and make them flush.
