NOTE:
Loosen the bolts ¼ turn in a cross pattern,
then, remove the bolts.
NOTE:
With the engine installed on the frame, the
magnet rotor and starting gear overhauling
is possible, removing the following parts:
• Side cover (RH)
• Seat
• Crankcase guard
MAGNET ROTOR
AND STARTING GEARS
Do not use a hammer to remove the piston
pin.
CAUTION:
NOTE:
Before removing the piston pin lock, cover
the case using a cloth in order to prevent
the lock from falling into the case.
• Use an appropriate puller to remove the
piston pin.
16. Remove:
• Piston pin lock 1
• Piston pin 2
• Piston 3
1. Disconnect:
• Neutral switch wire 1
2. Remove:
• Case cover 2 (LH)
Piston pin puller.
