ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
NOTE:
Wait some minutes until the oil settle,
before checking the level.
NOTE:
Place the motorcycle upright when checking
the oil level, since a slight inclination can
result in incorrect reading.
Do not apply additives. The engine oil also
lubricates the clutch and additives can
cause the clutch to slip.
Prevent dust from entering the engine.
CAUTION:
4. Inspect:
Oil level
The oil level should be between the
maximum 2 and minimum 3 marks.
Low oil level => Add oil.
1. Place the motorcycle on a flat area.
2. Warm up the engine for some minutes.
3. Stop the engine and check the oil level
through the visor 1.
Recommended engine oil:
YAMALUBE4, SAE10W30 or
SAE20W40 (for USA/CAN)
SAE10W30 or SAE10W40 or
SAE20W40 or SAE20W50 (for
AUS)
