FRONT WHEEL
INSPECTION
Rim warping limit:

6. Measure:
• Wheel warping
Out of specification => Check the
wheel and roller bearing clearance.
NOTE:
Check the wheel for warping after spoke
tightening.
Nipple:
2 N.m (0.2 kgf.m; 1.4 ft.lb)
5. Tighten:
• · Loose spokes
NOTE:
If a sharp metallic sound is heard, the spoke
is tight.
If a deep metallic sound is heard, the spoke
is loose.
3.Check:
• Tire
Damage/wear => Replace.
See Section "TIRE INSPECTION,"
CHAPTER 3.
• · Wheel
Warping/damage => Replace.
See Section "WHEEL INSPECTION,"
CHAPTER 3.
4.Check:
• Spokes
Warping/damage => Replace.
Loose spokes => Tighten.
Turn the wheel and beat the spokes using
a screwdriver.

WARNING
Do not try to straighten out the axle.
1. Remove corrosion from parts.
2. Verify:
• Axle
Roll the axle on a flat surface. Warping
=> Replace.
