CALIPER MOUNTING
Screw (brake disc):
10 N.m (1.0 kgf.m; 7.2 ft.lb)
Use LOCTITE
®
NOTE:
Tighten the screws (brake disc) in a cross
pattern.
8. Check:
• Brake disc 1
Damage => Replace
9. Measure:
• Brake disc warping
Out of specification => Check for
warping
Warping = > Replace the disc.
1 Dial gage
• Brake disc thickness
Out of specification => Replace
1 Micrometer
Brake fluid:
DOT # 4

WARNING
• All internal parts should be cleaned using
new brake fluid.
• Internal parts should be lubricated with
brake fluid before being reinstalled.
• When dismounting the caliper, replace
the piston retainer and the dust protector.
