Crankshaft mounting:
The crankshaft 1 and the crankshaft pin
oil passage 2 should be correctly aligned
with a maximum tolerance of 1 mm.
1. Check:
• Primary gear teeth 1
• Driven gear teeth (sleeve) 2
Wear/damages => Replace both gears.
Excessive running noise =>
Replace both gears.
PRIMARY GEAR
1. Check:
• Balancer driving gear teeth 1
• Balancer gear teeth 2
Wear/damages => Replace gears.
BALANCER GEARS

2. Check:
• Impact hub 1
• Spring 2
• Dowel pin 3
Wear/breakage/damages => Replace.
3. Check:
• Dot marks 1
• Align the marks
