3. Install the components shown in the
figure in the following sequence:
• Retainer 2 on the valve guide
• Valve 6
• Lower spring seat 5
• Internal spring 3
• External spring 4
• Upper spring seat 1
2. Apply:
• Molybdenum disulfide-based oil
(to stem and retainer)
VALVES
1. Remove burrs:
• Valve stem head
The engine mounting requires the
replacement of the following parts with new
ones:
• O-ring
• Gaskets
• Retainer
• Copper washers
• Lock washers
• Locks
