5. Check:
• Pulse coil 1
Charging coil/stator 2
Damages => Replace.
INSPECTION AND REPAIR
2. Check:
• Oil retainers
Damages/wear => Replace.
Do not use compressed air for drying the
roller bearings. This results in damage to
the surfaces.
1. Check:
• Roller bearings
Clean, lubricate and manually turn the
internal raceway.
Irregular rotation => Replace.
ROLLER BEARINGS AND RETAINERS
3. Check:
• Cases
Breakage/damages => Replace.
• Oil passages
Clogging => Blow using compressed air.
1. Wash the cases thoroughly using
kerosene.
2. Clean all gasket surfaces and the contact
surfaces of the cases.
CASES
CAUTION:
LOCKS AND WASHERS
1. Check:
• Locks
• Washers
Damages/clearances/warping =>
Replace.
