2. Connect the special service tool 1 to the
atmospheric port a and block the other
ports b with rubber plugs 2.
3. Apply the specified positive pressure and
check that there is no air leakage.
Replace the canister if there is air leak-
age.
Installing the canister, throttle body,
and surge tank
Do not reuse a gasket, always replace it
with a new one.
1. Install the air pressure sensor 1, and
then tighten the air pressure sensor bolt
2 to the specified torque.
2. Install a new gasket 3 and the throttle
damper plate 4, and then tighten the
throttle damper plate bolts 5 to the spec-
ified torque.
3. Install a new gasket 6, the throttle body
7 and the bracket 8, and then tighten
the throttle body nuts 9 to the specified
torque.
4. Install the holder 0 and vapor shut-off
valve A, and then tighten the vapor shut-
off valve nut B to the specified torque.
5. Install the throttle body assembly wiring
harness extension coupler a to the
holder b on the bracket 8.
6. Fasten the throttle body assembly wiring
harness extension C and holder 0 using
the plastic tie D.
7. Connect the air pressure sensor coupler
c and vapor shut-off valve coupler d.
