3. Connect the isolator coupler a.
Installing the battery cable
1. Route the battery cable through the bot-
tom cowling.
2. Connect the negative battery cable a,
and then tighten the negative battery
cable nut 1 to the specified torque.
3. Connect the positive battery cable b.
4. Install the rubber cap 2.

1. Remove the engine ECM cover 1.
2. Cut off the tip a of the nipple 2.
3. Install the extension hose 3 to the nipple
2, and then fasten it using the plastic tie
4.
TIP:
Cut the extension hose 3 to 50 mm (2.0 in).
4. Install the tube 5.

13 N·m (1.3 kgf·m, 9.6 ft·lb)
