Removing the oil filter bracket
1. Remove the oil filter 1.
2. Loosen the oil filter bracket bolts 3 in the
order 1, 2, and so on, and then remove
the oil filter bracket 4 and gasket 5.
Removing the oil pump assembly
1. Remove the oil pump assembly 1, O-
rings 2, and oil seal 3.
Removing the crankcase cover
1. Remove the fuel filter assembly. See
“Removing the fuel filter assembly” (6-
13).
2. Remove the throttle body assembly. See
“Removing the throttle body assembly”
(6-23).
3. Remove the engine hanger 1.
4. Loosen the crankcase cover bolts 2 in
the order 1, 2, and so on, and then
remove the crankcase cover 3 and gas-
ket 4.
5. Remove the engine temperature sensor
