maximum-paths (RIP)
maximum-paths (RIP)
To configure the maximum number of equal cost parallel routes that the Routing Information Protocol
(RIP) can install into the routing table, use the maximum-paths command. To remove the
maximum-paths command and restore the system to its default condition, use the no form of this
command.

Usage Guidelines This command does not require a license.
Examples This example shows how to allow a maximum of 16 equal cost paths to a destination:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# router rip Enterprise
switch(config-router)# address-family ipv4 unicast
switch(config-router-af)# maximum-paths 16
switch(config-router-af)#
