CAUTION
•Whenpositioningthespringonthetransaxle,besuretoinsertthelocatingboltonthespringinthe
locatingholeinthetransaxlesaddle.
1.Installthefrontoftheleafspring(1)ontothevehicleframe(Figure9-7).

2.Installthebolt(2)andnut(3).Tightenthenutto18.5lb·ft(25N·m).
3.Installtherearoftheleafspringontotheshackle.
4.Installthebolt(4)andnut(5).Tightenthenutto18.5lb·ft(25N·m).
5.Installtheshockmountbracket(6),U-bolt(7),andnuts(8).Tightenthenutsto25lb·ft(34N·m).
6.Installthebottomstemoftheshockabsorberintotheshockmountbracket.
7.Installtherubberbushing(9),cupwasher(10),andnut(11).Tightenthenutuntiltherubberbushingexpands
tothesizeofthecupwasher.
