TheExcelvehiclewithERICChargingsystemusesa48-voltelectricalsystemwithashunt-wound,3.1hpmotorthat
ispoweredbysix8-voltlead-acidbatteriesandchargedbyahigh-frequencycharger.TheExcelvehiclewithERIC
Chargingsystemincludesseveraladditionalfeatures.
ACCESSORIES
Forpoweredaccessoriesthatneedtobecontrolledbythekeyswitch,usethegraywirewithafemalebulletconnector
locatedbehindtheinstrumentpanel.
CHARGEINDICATORLIGHT
ExcelvehicleswithERICChargingsystemfeatureadashmountedchargeindicatorlight(belowthesteeringcolumn)
thatservestwofunctions:1)Batterylowstateofchargewarning,and2)Chargingconrmation.Thechargeindicator
lightiscontrolledbypin11ofthecontroller.
BatteryLowStateofChargeWarning
•Thelightcomesonandremainssolidwhenthebatterystateofchargefallsbelow20%.
•Thelightbeginsashingwhenthebatterystateofchargefallsbelow10%.
ChargingConrmation
•Thelightwillashthreetimesandthereversebuzzersimultaneouslywillsoundthreetimestoindicateabattery
