Whenafaultisdetectedbythecontroller,thecontrollerwillattempttorecoverfromthefaultandresumenormal
operation.Inthecaseofanintermittentproblem,suchasaloosewiringconnection,thecontrollermaybeableto
recoverandoperatenormallyforawhile,buttheproblemshouldberepairedbeforeplacingthevehicleinservice.
Dependingonthetypeoffault,thecontrollerwillattempttorecovereitherimmediatelyaftertheconditionclearsor
aftertheacceleratorpedalhasbeencycled(releasedandpressedagain).
