KEYSWITCHREMOVAL
1.Disconnectthebatteryandsparkplugwire.
2.Removetheinstrumentpanel.
3.Disconnectthewiresfromthekeyswitch(1)(Figure19-36,Page19-32).
4.Fromthebackoftheinstrumentpanel,pushdownontheretainingtabsandremovethekeyswitchcap(2).
5.Holdthekeyswitchandremovetheswitchretainingnut(3)fromtheoutsideoftheinstrumentpanel.
6.Removethewasher(4)andthekeyswitch
KEYSWITCHINSTALLATION
1.Installthekeyswitch(1)andwasher(4)intotheinstrumentpanel(Figure19-36,Page19-32).
2.Installthekeyswitchnut(3).Tightenthenutto35to45lb·in(4to5N·m).
3.Installthekeyswitchcap(2).
4.Connectthewirestothekeyswitchterminals.Seethefollowingtable.
