The5-volt,2.1ampUSBreceptaclesupplieselectricitytopowerandchargeportabledevices.TheUSBreceptacleis
notformovementofdata.
TheUSBreceptaclewillonlyoperatewhenashieldedUSBcordisconnected.WhentheUSBreceptacleisnotinuse,
removetheshieldedUSBcordtopreventbatterydrain.
USBRECEPTACLEREMOVAL
1.Disconnectthebatteryandsparkplugwire.
2.Removetheinstrumentpanel.
3.DisconnecttheUSBreceptaclewires(1and2)fromtheinstrumentpanelwires(Figure19-40,Page19-36).

4.DisconnecttheUSBreceptaclewires(3and4)fromthekeyswitch.
5.Pushthelocktabs(5)onbothsidesandremovetheUSBreceptacle(6).
USBRECEPTACLEINSTALLATION
1.PuttheUSBreceptaclewiresintothedash.
2.PushtheUSBreceptacle(6)intothedash(Figure19-40,Page19-36).
3.Makesurethatthelockingtabs(5)engage.
4.ConnecttheredinstrumentpanelwiretotheredUSBreceptaclewire(1).
5.ConnecttheblackinstrumentpanelwiretotheblackUSBreceptaclewire(2).
6.ConnecttheredUSBreceptaclewire(3)tokeyswitch2terminal.
7.ConnecttheblackUSBreceptaclewire(4)tokeyswitchM-terminal.
8.Installtheinstrumentpanel.
9.Connectthebatteryandsparkplugwire.
