•Topreventdamagetothevehiclewhenremovingdifcultstainsorheavysoiling,removetheseat
bottomfromthevehiclerst.
Topreserveseatappearance,cleanregularlywithmildsoapordetergentappliedwithaspongeorsoftcloth.Usea
softbristlebrushtocleanareasthatareespeciallysoiled.Usethefollowingguidelines:
LightSoiling:Asolutionof10%liquiddishsoapandwarmwaterappliedwithasoft,dampclothisrecommended.
Asoftbristlebrushmaybeusedifnecessary.Wipeoffanyresiduewithawaterdampenedcloth.
DifcultStains:Dampenasoft,whiteclothwithasolutionof10%householdbleach(sodiumhypochlorite)and
90%water.Rubgentlytoremovestain,thenrinsewithawaterdampenedclothtoremovebleachconcentration.
MoreDifcultStains:Performpreviousprocedureusingfull-strengthbleach,orallowbleachtopuddleon
affectedareaforapproximately30minutes.Rinsewithawaterdampenedclothtoremoveanyremainingbleach
concentration.

1.Holdaheatgun12inches(30cm)awayfromtheaffectedarea,withthegunonitslowestheatsetting.
2.Slowlywavetheheatgunbackandforthovertheaffectedareauntilthestreakfades.
CAUTION
•Holdingtheheatguntooclosetothebodycouldmeltthebodyordamagethenish.Donotholdthe
heatguncloserthan6inches(15cm)tothebody.
3.Itmaybenecessarytomovethegunclosertothebodytofadethestreak.Donotholdtheguncloserthan
6inches(15cm)tothebody.

bodycanberepairedusingaproceduresimilartotheoneusedtoremovestress
lines.Toremovedeformationsresultingfromminorimpactdamage:
1.Holdaheatgun12inches(30cm)awayfromtheaffectedarea,withthegunonitslowestheatsetting.
2.Periodicallyremovetheheatgunandbendthebody,usingapushblock,intheoppositedirectionofthe
deformation.
