4.ComparemeasuredgroundspeedwithforwardgroundspeedspeciedinVehicleSpecications..
5.Ifadjustmentisnecessary,usethefollowingprocedures:
5.1.T oreduceRPM,loosentheacceleratorcablejamnutontheoutsideoftheelectricalcomponentbox
andtightenthejamnutontheinsideoftheboxuntilspeciedgroundspeedisreached.SeeVehicle
Specications.
5.2.T oincreaseRPM,loosenthejamnutinsidetheelectricalcomponentboxandtightenthejamnutoutside
theboxuntilspeciedgroundspeedisreached.
5.3.Besurebothjamnutsarelockedagainsttheelectricalcomponentboxandcheckgroundspeedagain.If
groundspeedneedstobeadjusted,repeatpreviousstep.SeefollowingNOTE.
NOTE:Ifmoreadjustmentisrequiredthanthecablehousingwillallow,makesurethespringttingontheotherend
oftheacceleratorcableisproperlyinstalled.Excessivedrivebeltandclutchwearcanalsopreventproper
