•Accelerator:WiththekeyswitchintheONpositionandtheForward/Neutral/ReverseswitchintheFORWARD
position,astheacceleratorpedalispressed,theengineshouldstartandthevehicleshouldacceleratesmoothlyto
fullspeed.Whenthepedalisreleaseditshouldreturntotheoriginalposition.AllClubCarvehiclesoperateat
reducedspeedinreverse.
•Governor:Checkmaximumspeedofthevehicle.Thevehicleshouldoperateat12to15mph(19to24km/h)
onalevelsurface.
NOTE:The12to15mph(19to24km/h)isforeetgolfcars.Thereisanoptional19mph(30km/h)speedkitavailable
fornon-eetgolfcars,thesevehiclesshouldbesetbetween18.5and19.5mph(29.7and31.3km/h).

Toensuretrouble-freevehicleperformance,itisveryimportanttofollowanestablishedpreventivemaintenance
program.Regularandconsistentvehiclemaintenancecanpreventvehicledowntimeandexpensiverepairsthatcan
resultfromneglect.UsethePre-OperationandDailySafetyChecklistbeginningonpage10-2,thePerformance
Inspection,andthefollowingPeriodicServiceSchedulesandPeriodicLubricationSchedulestokeepthevehiclein
properworkingcondition.
Anyvehiclenotfunctioningcorrectlyshouldberemovedfromuseuntilitisproperlyrepaired.Thiswillpreventfurther
damagetothevehicleandavoidthepossibilityofinjuryduetounsafeconditions.
ContactyourlocalClubCardistributor/dealertoperformallrepairsandsemiannualandannualperiodicservice.
WARNING
•Ifanyproblemsarefoundduringscheduledinspectionorservice,donotoperatethevehicleuntil
repairsaremade.Failuretomakenecessaryrepairscouldresultinre,propertydamage,severe
personalinjury,ordeath.
•Onlytrainedtechniciansshouldserviceorrepairthevehicleorbatterycharger.Anyonedoingeven
simplerepairsorserviceshouldhaveknowledgeandexperienceinelectricalandmechanicalrepair.
Theappropriateinstructionsmustbeusedwhenperformingmaintenance,service,oraccessory
installation.

•Toavoidunintentionallystartingthevehicle,disconnectthebatteriesanddischargethecontroller.
