1.Usingamultimetersetfor200ohms,placethered(+)probeintooneoftheterminalsontheendofthecordwith
thesquareplug.
2.Placetheblack(–)probeoneachofthepins,oneatatime,ontheplugontheotherendofthecord.
3.Themultimetershouldindicatecontinuityononlyonepin.Ifanyotherreadingisobtained,thecordmustbe
replaced.
4.Repeattheprocedurethreemoretimes,eachtimewiththered(+)probeinsertedintoadifferentterminalon
theendofthecordwiththesquareplug.
