becomedamaged,itsthreadmightstrip,orthenut/screwmightfailandworkitselfloose.Listedinthetablearethetightening
torqueguresforthemostimportantnutsandscrews,whichhavedeterminedinaccordancewiththreaddiameter,pitchand
specicapplication.Theseguresareobtainedaftercleaningthethreadswithsolvent.
