Air lter check (TE - TXC)
Turn the rear xing (1) counter clockwise, remove it and extract the saddle releasing
it from the front retaining screw.
Take out the battery (A) and leave it hanging on the side of the motorcycle.
Remove the screw (3), remove the complete air lter (4) and separate lter (5) from
intake silencer (6).
Air lter cleaning
Wash the lter with a specic detergent (see "Capacities" table in Section A)
then dry it fully (wash lter with gasoline only in case of need). Plunge the lter
in special oil for lters (see "Capacities" table in Section A), then wring it to drain
superuous oil.
Do not use fuel or a low ash-point solvent to clean the ltering element.
A re or explosion could result.
Clean the ltering element in a well ventilated area and do not allow
sparks or ames anywhere near the working area.
