Item IFZ BMP (BFZ) JPG (JFZ)
Save counts - The number of images that
can be saved to an external
device will be less.
The number of files that can
be saved in external storage
is larger than IFZ format, BMP
(BFZ) format.
Processing
time
- The read/write processing
time will be longer for the
BMP(BFZ) file format due to
the conversion to/from the IFZ
image file format in Sensor
Controller memory.
JFor the Read/Write time for
JPG (JFZ) format im-
ages,there is some process-
ing time to convert the image
format (IFZ) captured in the
sensor controller to JPG (JFZ)
format.
Restrictions If there is insufficient memory
in the logging destination, the
files will not be created.
If there is insufficient memory
for the logging destination, the
BMP files will not be created,
but their container folder will
be created.
When the capacity of the log-
ging destination is insufficient,
the JPG image is not created
and only the folder is created.
Restrictions -
• Do not change the names
of any BMP images includ-
ed in the BMP(BFZ) file
type. Measurement of load-
ing image may not be exe-
cuted when loads
BMP(BFZ) file type.
• If there are camera image
input numbers for the BMP
format files included in the
BMP(BFZ) file type that are
out of sequence, measure-
ment will not be done on
images after the first out of
sequence.
• Do not change the name of
theJpeg format image file
included in JPG (JFZ) for-
mat file. When loading a
JPG (JFZ) format file,
measurement of the loaded
image may not be possible.
• If the Camera Image Input
number of the Jpeg image
file included in the JPG
(JFZ) file format becomes
out of sequence, measure-
ment on images after the
out of sequence Camera
Image Input number will not
be performed.
Restrictions If you save as BMP(BFZ) format, the handling for the area out-
side the image differs from the IFZ file format and emphasizes
ease of display. If you want to perfectly reproduce the meas-
urement processing, including error processing on the outside
part of the image, save it as IFZ file format.
The JPG (JFZ) format can be
loaded and measured when
the Sensor Controller soft-
ware version is 5.71 or later.
Since it is an irreversible com-
pression image format, the
measurement result differs
from IFZ, or BMP (BFZ) for-
mat.
