110 System Setup - Heats Setup
The Disconnected Status field tells the user of the current status as the system tries to
disconnect from the SSNX interface. This field is informational only and cannot be changed.
The initial value shows Invalid until the interface is enabled for the first time. The possible
values are:
• Empty (No problems)
• Shotscope NX Server Not Found
• Connection to Server Timeout Fault (Disable interface while connected)
• Shotscope NX Server Application Fault (Re-enable network interface)
10.1.3 System Setup - Heats Setup
Use the Heats Setup to configure all of the temperature and monitor settings for the mold.
To access the Heat Setup, touch the System Setup button on the Home screen and then
touch the Heats Setup tab at the bottom of the screen.
The Heats Setup is divided into three groups of related configuration settings, accessed with
the tabs at the bottom of the screen:
• Control Page 1
• Control Page 2
• Monitoring
The sections that follow describe the configuration settings found in each group.
10.1.3.1 Heats Setup - Control Page 1
On the Control Page 1 tab of the Heats Setup screen, temperature configurations are set for
the categories that follow:
• Manual Standby and Boost
• Remote Standby
• Remote Boost
• Bake Out
• Resin Protection Timer
• Soft Start
• Mold Cooling Enable
The Control Page 1 tab is shown in Figure 10-3 with the configuration settings for each
category. The configuration settings are described in Table 10-3.
