118 Force Temperature Units To Option
10.2 Force Temperature Units To Option
Users can select how the available temperature units are shown with the Force Temperature
Units To option: Degrees Celsius (C), degrees Fahrenheit (F), or degrees kelvin (K).
When C, F, or K is selected, all temperatures shown in the system are forced to that unit. This
includes all stored mold setups. When a dash is select for this option, users can select their
own temperature unit in the units dialog.
To select the temperature unit of measure, do the steps that follow:
1. On the System Setup screen, touch the Main tab.
2. Touch the Force Temperature Units To field.
3. Select the temperature unit.
10.3 Units of Measure
Users can configure the Altanium controller to show the international system of units (SI) or
the imperial units of measure.
To change the units of measure, do the steps that follow:
1. On the System Setup screen, touch the Main tab.
2. Touch the Units button.
3. Select the units of measure you want shown on the system.
4. Touch the Exit button.
NOTE: If the Altanium controller is forced to a specified setting, only administrators can
change the units of measure.
10.4 Equipment Protection
The Equipment Protection function is used to set a timer that alerts users when the servo
cabinet air filter must be changed. The time interval can be set from 30 to 365 days. A counter
field shows the number of days since the timer was started. There is a reset button for when
the filter has been replaced.
To set the air filter reminder, do the steps that follow:
1. On the System Setup screen, touch the Main tab.
2. Touch the Air Filter button below Equipment Protection.
3. Touch the Change Interval field.
4. Type the number of days and touch the Accept button.
5. Touch the Change Reminder check box to enable the reminder.
