Modem Circuit Card Replacement
Refer to the Installation Instructions (Section 5879) located in the separate
INSTALLATION MANUAL for procedures to do the following. Section 5879 is also
provided on the CD (Electronic Documentation Package) furnished with your system.
• Install the circuit card.
• Connect the phone line.
• Configure modem parameters.
I/O Circuit Card Replacement
Refer to the Installation Instructions (Section 5879) located in the separate
INSTALLATION MANUAL for procedures to do the following. Section 5879 is also
provided on the CD (Electronic Documentation Package) furnished with your system.
• Install the circuit card.
• Wire to the circuit card.
• Configure the associated channels of the circuit card.
Note: When removing a circuit card from the network, the associated Node must be
re-initialized before the network recognizes the removal of the circuit card. If
the Node is not re-initialized, alarms may be present. Re-initialize the Node to
clear the alarms. Note that the configuration for the channels on the source
node may need re-configuring after executing the NODE INITIO command.
