11.4.1.5 Configuring the Service Channel Between an OLT and an ONU
This section describes how to configure a service channel between an optical line terminal (OLT)
and an optical network unit (ONU). After the configuration, the service channel forwards service
packets on the ONU at Layer 2 based on the planned VLAN and forwarding policy.
Data Plan and Configuration Description
Planning the service channel between an OLT and an ONU is planning VLAN data. The
following table lists the data plan in various Ethernet cascading scenarios.
