SENSORS
CKP SENSOR INSPECTION
The crankshaft position sensor is installed in the generator
cover. ("4-23)
CKP SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLA-
TION
• Remove the generator cover. ("3-26)
• Install the generator cover in the reverse order of removal.
IAP SENSOR INSPECTION
The intake air pressure sensor is installed at the rear side of the
air cleaner box. ("4-25)
IAP SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLA-
TION
• Lift and support the fuel tank. ("5-7)
• Remove the IAP sensor from the air cleaner box.
• Install the IAP sensor in the reverse order of removal.
TP SENSOR INSPECTION
The throttle position sensor is installed at the left side of the
No.2 throttle body. ("4-28)
TP SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
• Remove the air cleaner box. ("5-15)
• Remove the TP sensor. ("5-19)
• Install the TP sensor in the reverse order of removal.
$ TP sensor mounting screw: 3.5 N·m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 lb-ft)
TPS ADJUSTMENT
• Adjust the TP sensor. ("4-16)
ECT SENSOR INSPECTION
The ECT sensor is installed on the thermostat case. ("4-31)
ECT SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLA-
TION
• Remove the ECT sensor. ("6-10)
• Install the ECT sensor in the reverse order of removal.
$ ECT sensor: 19 N·m (1.9 kgf-m, 13.5 lb-ft)
