7. Remove the feed out chute (1), Figure 4.

8. Remove the tray 1 feeder assembly, Figure 5:
a. Remove two screws (1).
b. Remove the tray 1 feeder assembly (2).

Replacement
1. The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
2. If a new tray 1 feeder assembly is installed, enter dC132 HFSI Counter. Reset the HFSI
counter 954-800.

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to GP 10. Disconnect the power cord
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
NOTE: New feed, retard and nudger rolls must be installed at the same time.
1. Pull out tray 1.
2. Remove the tray 1 feed, retard and nudger rolls, Figure 1:
a. Slide the chute (1) forwards.
b. Release the clip, then remove the tray 1 feed, retard and nudger rolls (2).

Replacement
1. The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
2. If new tray 1 feed, retard and nudger rolls are installed, enter dC135 HFSI Counter. Reset
the HFSI counter 954-800.
