3.4.5.12 Hunt Groups
The Hunt Group submenu allows you to configure groups of channels called Hunt Groups.
This submenu includes the following page item:
Hunt Group (refer to “Configuring the Trunk Group Table” on page 220)
Hunt G
roup Settings (refer to ''Configuring the Trunk Group Settings'' on page 222)
3.4.5.12.1 Configuring the Hunt Group Table
The 'Hunt Group Table' page allows you to enable the device's channels by assigning them
telephone numbers and other attributes (e.g., Hunt Groups and Profiles). Hunt Groups are
used for routing IP-to-Tel calls with common rules. Channels that are not defined are
disabled. You can define up to 24entries in this table. Hunt Groups can be used for FXO
and FXS channels, but they are typically used for FXO interfaces
Note: You can also configure the Trunk Groups using the ini file table parameter
TrunkGroup_x to (refer to ''Number Manipulation and Routing Parameters'' on
page 408).
¾ To configure the Hunt Group table:
1. Open the 'Hunt Group Table' page (Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration
menu > Hunt Group submenu > Hunt Group page item).
