METHOD FOR CHECKING PROJECT FILE
Check if the project file is set correctly on the control box.

METHOD FOR CHECKING GNSS COMMUNICATION STATUS
Check the satellite acquisition and positioning accuracy with
the control box.
Check that the satellite communication state monitor is lit in
green.
For the checking method for satellite acquisition and the posi-
tioning accuracy, see “METHOD FOR CHECKING GNSS
COMMUNICATION STATUS”.
REMARK
If both Horizontal RMS and Vertical RMS values are ±0.02 m
{±0.8 in
} and below the positioning accuracy is good.
METHOD FOR CHECKING CONTROL BOX SCREEN DISPLAY
1.
Check visually that posture of work equipment displayed
on the control box is the same as that of the actual ma-
chine.
REMARK
The posture of work equipment may change slightly due to
hydraulic drift of work equipment while engine is stopped.
Sensor cannot detect the change of posture while engine
is stopped. The posture of work equipment displayed on
the control box at engine start may change if hydraulic drift
occurs.
Reset the work equipment posture detection according to
the following procedure if the posture of work equipment
displayed on the control box differs to that of actual ma-
chine.

Start the engine.
3.
Set the swing lock switch to ON position and check that
the
swing lock monitor is lit on the screen of machine mon-
itor.
4.
Move the lock lever slowly and steadily to FREE position,
then raise the bucket from the ground.
