WARNING
• After
the machine is transported, be sure to install the handrails before inspection and mainte-
nance.
• Use the crane etc. for carrying the handrails.
There is a danger of rolling over or falling from high place that can lead to serious personal injury or
death. Check the footing and ensure your safety before starting the work.
• If installation or removal work of the handrail is improper, there is a hazard that someone may fall
from the machine during the installation or removal work.
Observe the following procedures for the removal and installation.
Removal and installation order of handrail
• Remove
the GNSS antenna always before removing or in-
stalling the handrail. For the removal and installation of
GNSS antenna, see “REMOVE AND INSTALL GNSS AN-
TENNA (3-60)”.
• When removing the handrail, remove the handrails (A),
(B), and (C) in this order.
• When installing the handrail, install the handrails (C), (B)
and (A) in this order.
METHOD FOR REMOVING HANDRAIL
1.
Remove the bolts (1) and remove the clips which clamp
the wiring harness.
When
removing the clip, check the clamping position and
record it as needed in order to prevent a wrong installation.
2.
Remove the bolts (2), and remove the handrail (A) and
cover (3).
3.
Remove the bolts (4) and remove the clips which clamp
the wiring harness.
When
removing the clip, check the clamping position and
record it as needed in order to prevent a wrong installation.
4.
Remove the bolts (5), and remove the handrail (B) and
cover (6).
5.
Remove the bolts (7), and remove the handrail (C) and
cover (8).
