Active Board Slot Number: Slot number with the active blade if the device is in HA
mode; otherwise, this field is unavailable
To view real-time status of the device's hardware components (chassis slots with blades,
fans, power supplies, and PEMs), click any area (except the alarms, Ethernet, and PSTN
icons) on the graphical display of the chassis. For more information, see Viewing Hardware
Components Status on page 735.
The table below describes the areas of the Home page.

Item # Description
1 Fan Tray unit operating status icons:
(green): Normal operation
(red): Fan failure or missing fan
To view current alarms, click this area to open the Active Alarms table (see Viewing
Active Alarms on page 737).
2 System unit displaying chassis severity alarm icons:
(green): no alarm - normal functioning
(red): Critical, Shelf, and / or System alarm raised
(orange): Major and / or Minor alarm raised
For a detailed description of the chassis severity LEDs, refer to the Hardware
Installation Manual.
3 SA/M3K Alarms and Status blade's FAIL icon:
(gray): Normal functioning
(red): Blade failure
4 SA/M3K Alarms and Status blade's ACT icon:
(gray): Single blade
(green): Active blade
(orange): Standby blade
5 The TP-6310/TP-8410 blade's FAIL icon:
(gray): Normal functioning
(red): Blade failure
6 The TP-6310/TP-8410 blade's ACT icon:
(gray): Single blade
(green): Active blade
(orange): Standby blade
7 & 8 Dual Ethernet port status icons (Eth 1 and Eth 2):
(gray): No link
(green): Active Ethernet link
(yellow): Redundant link
