Replacement of the Display Latches (right/left)
8-13-1 Manpower
One person, 25 minutes
8-13-2 Tools
Phillips screwdriver 1 and 2
8-13-3 Preparations
1.) Power Off/Shutdown the system as described in Section 3-6-3 on page 3-72.
2.) Remove the LCD Display Frame as described in Section 8-12-4 on page 8-30.
8-13-4 Latches - Removal Procedure
1.) Using your thumbnail push back the spiral spring, remove the sliding disk and then remove the
complete latch assembly.
8-13-5 Latches - Installation Procedure
1.) Place the new latch assemblies into their original position, place the sliding disk and fix them with
the spiral spring.(refer to Figure 8-39, above).
2.) Mount the LCD Frame as described in Section 8-12-5 on page 8-30.
Figure 8-39 push back the spring, remove sliding disk and then remove the complete latch assembly
