Replacement of the LCD Backlight Inverter Board
8-15-1 Manpower
One person, 25 minutes
8-15-2 Tools
Phillips screwdriver 1 and 2
8-15-3 Preparations
1.) Power Off/Shutdown the system as described in Section 3-6-3 on page 3-72.
2.) Remove the LCD Display Frame as described in Section 8-12-4 on page 8-30.
8-15-4 Backlight Inverter Board - Removal Procedure
1.) Loosen and remove the 5 screws that fasten the LCD Display at the Rear Cover Assembly.
Refer to Figure 8-43 on page 8-33.
2.) Disconnect the Inverter and LCD cable from the Backlight Inverter board (see: Figure 8-46 below).
3.) Remove the Backlight Inverter board from the Rear Cover Assembly.
8-15-5 Backlight Inverter Board - Installation Procedure
1.) Place the new Backlight Inverter board in its original position.
2.) Reconnect the Inverter cable and the LCD cable to the board (refer to Figure 8-46, above).
3.) Mount the LCD Display Frame as described in Section 8-12-5 on page 8-30.
