6.13.2.2 MESSAGE / REPLY FORMATS
Message Transmission to T200
All messages transmitted to T200 will be assembled in the following format:
Byte Use
1 Number of bytes to follow (i.e. Message size - 1)
2 Address of T200
3 Command code
: Command data

N Additive checksum modulo 256
Note:
• All numbers are restricted to 8 bits (0..255)
• The T200 address for RS232 or single node RS485 is ‘0’ .
• Delay from start of message to end of message must be less than 0.25 seconds
• For multi-node RS485, addresses from 1 to 127 must be used to address individual nodes ( RS485 not currently
implemented ) .
• On a multi drop network, the transmitter must be disabled within 5mS of sending the last byte of the message. This
allows the T200 to acknowledge the message sent.
• The content of the command data depends on the command code .
T200 Reply to Host Transmission
All T200 replies to the Host will be assembled in the following format:
Byte Use
1 Number of bytes to follow (i.e. Message size - 1)
2 Master address incorporating slave address.
3 Command code
4 Acknowledge status
: Acknowledge data
