SECTION 7: WINDRIVE T200 User's Manual
PAGE 7-31
7.10 Drive Set-up
The drive can be configured in either Position Mode, Velocity Mode or Torque Mode via WinDrive. Note that the T200
defaults to the Velocity loop configuration mode, with an analog ± 10V reference type. Configuration of the T200 into
other modes besides Velocity Mode is described in Section 6.
7.10.1 Basic Velocity Mode Drive Set-up
This section describes a basic set-up method for a servo-drive, using the Basic DriveSetup option from the Drive
Menu. A sequence of dialog boxes follows the selection of this option.

Figure 7.31: Units Dialog Box
Prior to configuring the drive, the Units Dialog box should be opened from the Drive Menu. The units in which the
parameters torque, temperature, current, KT (torque constant of motor), velocity, inductance and inertia are measured
should be set as required by the user. Update should be clicked to store the units to memory. These units are typically
available in metric or imperial units.
