7.14 Drive Disabling
The drive may be disabled at any time through several means. In case of emergency F2 may be pressed, the Stop Icon
clicked or Quick Stop selected from the Drive Menu to perform a Quick Stop.
The drive may be disabled by pressing the F4 key, clicking the relevant icon on the Floating Toolbar or selecting
Disable from the Drive Menu.
7.15 Programmable Behaviour of Outputs
In certain applications it may be desirable to change the polarity of the System Ready Relay and / or the Thermal Limit
Output. These are programmable in the Invert System Ready Relay / Thermal Limit Output dialog.

: The user should ensure that sufficient means exist to immediately disable the
T200 through hardware means in the event of a communications or other software
malfunction. This may be accomplished by switching the ENABLE digital input of the
T200 with the main machine safety switch (Red Emergency Button).
CAUTION: The user should be aware of any potential hazard for personnel or equipment
when disabling / Quick Stopping a motor. On disable, torque is removed from the motor
completely so that any vertical axis may fall down. Additionally, if the motor is fitted with
an optional brake, this brake stays open (released) when the drive is disabled. On Quick
Stop, the servo-controller generates a zero command, holding the motor in its current
position, and a warning is issued informing the user that the drive has to be disabled before
it can be re-enabled. Disabling the drive under these conditions will result in the same
behaviour as described for "normal" disabling above. If the motor is fitted with an optional
brake, the brake may be applied after commanding a Quick Stop. This causes the brake to
be applied and the controller to be disabled so that the motor shaft is held at its present
Invert System Ready Relay Polarity: When the polarity
of the System Ready Relay is not inverted, it will be
closed if no fault or warning condition is present and
open in case of a fault or warning being detected by the
controller. Check the Invert System Ready Relay
Polarity checkbox to invert the polarity of the System
Ready Relay.
Invert Thermal Limit Output Polarity: When the
polarity of the Thermal Limit Output is not inverted, it
will be closed if no Foldback fault is present and open in
case of a Foldback fault being detected by the controller.
Check the Invert Thermal Limit Output Polarity
checkbox to invert the polarity of the System Ready
Relay.
