to the T200-500 CAN IN port. There was a 3m shielded cable terminated in characteristic impedances connected to the
Point Extended I/O option port on the T200-510 Drive. There was an in-line FairRite Type 0443164151 ferrite installed
at each end of this cable.
Single phase input power was supplied via a Schaffner type FN 350-12-29 mains input line to the AC LINE IN port on
the T200-510 Drive. The DC BUS voltage was daisy chained from the T200-510 Drive to the T200-500 Drive. An
optional external Regen resistor was connected via a 10m shielded cable to the EXT REGEN port on the T200-510
Drive.
All Drives were mounted onto an earthed metal panel, mounted in turn onto an earthed equipment chassis frame. The
bare metal rear panel of each Drive enclosure was fixed in direct contact with the earthed metal panel on the equipment
chassis.
Output cables were grouped and routed along the chassis of the equipment frame in a manner similar to cable routing on
machinery. The motor power and motor resolver cables were grouped together and installed in a fixed routing to the
motors. The output port cables, motor power and resolver cables, and power input cables had segregated routings.
Test Configuration 9: EMC Emissions & Immunity: 3 Phase Power application.
The configuration consisted of two Model T200-610 Drives. Both Drives had 8 ohm external regen resistor options
installed. The Number Two T200-610 Drive had a T200 Point Extended I/O Card option (Moog p/n C09950) and a
T200 Personality Module option ( Moog p/n C09951) installed. The Drives were connected to Motors via 10m Motor
Power and Motor Resolver shielded cables, terminated to chassis earth at each end.
There were 3m shielded cables terminated in characteristic impedances connected to the following ports on both Drives:
Power Ready port, Encoder port, ESM Out port, Serial port, Axis Signals port. There was an in-line FairRite Type
0443164151 ferrite installed at each end of the Axis Signal port cables for each Drive.
There were 3m shielded cables terminated in characteristic impedances connected to the CAN IN port on the Number
One T200-610 Drive and the CAN OUT port the Number Two T200-610 Drive. Each of these cables had an in-line
Steward Type 28A2024-0A0 ferrite installed at the Drive ports. There was a daisy chain connection from the Number
One T200-610 Drive CAN OUT port to the Number Two T200-610 Drive CAN IN port.
There was a 3m shielded cable terminated in characteristic impedances connected to the Point Extended I/O option port
on the Number Two T200-610 Drive. There was an in-line FairRite Type 0443164151 ferrite installed at each end of
this cable.
Input power was supplied via a 3 phase 400:230 V a.c. step down isolation transformer connected by separate armoured
cables to the AC LINE IN port on each T200-610 Drive. The external regen resistors (8 ohm ) were connected via 10m.
shielded cables to the EXT REGEN port on each T200-610 Drive.
An optional 24V d.c. external logic power supply was connected to the 24V DC LOGIC POWER port on the Number
Two T200-610 Drive and daisy chained to the Number One T200-610 Drive. This external 24 V d.c power was supplied
from a power supply on the equipment connected to one of the secondary phases of the 400:230 V a.c. step down
isolation transformer. There was a Steward Type 28A2024-0A0 ferrite installed through 2.5 turns on the supply cable at
the 24V DC LOGIC POWER port on the Number Two T200-610 Drive.
An optional 120V a.c. external logic power supply was connected to the 120 V AC LOGIC POWER port on the Number
One T200-610 Drive and daisy chained to the Number Two T200-610 Drive. This external 120 V a.c power was
supplied from a 230:120 V a.c. step down isolation transformer on the equipment connected to one of the secondary
phases of the 400:230 V a.c. step down isolation transformer. There was an in-line Steward Type 28A2024-0A0 ferrite
installed on the supply cable at the 120 V AC LOGIC POWER port on the Number One T200-610 Drive.
