7.12 Incremental Encoder Input Configuration
The T200 Incremental Encoder input can be set-up via WinDrive. A description of the incremental encoder input is
given in Section 6.10.

Present Position (Lines): The present encoder position may be read using this display. Pressing the Update button
updates the value displayed for Present Position. Note that the Present Position cannot be set by the user, since it is the
output of a hardware module.
Number of Lines per Revolution: The user
sets this input to scale the encoder. The
encoder input is used in Stepper Mode and
POINT Mode. The motor cannot be
commutated with the incremental encoder.
The Number of Lines per Revolution is
usually available from the encoder nameplate.
Zero Marker Offset (Lines): The rotational
offset of the Incremental Encoder position is
set by the user via this parameter. It is scaled
in encoder lines.
