10.4.2 Fault Type: F2 (DC-Bus Overvoltage) on 7-segment Display
The F2 fault is displayed when the DC-Bus voltage exceeds 400V d.c. The T200 disabled itself immediately when the
fault occurred.

Regeneration
Resistor not
adequate
The internal regeneration resistor is not adequate to dissipate the kinetic energy returned
from the load, when the motor decelerates, or has to hold an overrunning or vertical axis
with a heavy load.
[Install an external regeneration resistor as detailed in Section 3.13.]
Load Deceleration is
Excessive
The deceleration of the load is excessive, and regenerative energy is returned too fast for
the regeneration resistor to dissipate. [Decrease the deceleration rate programmed in the
motion control system. Alternatively use an external regeneration resistor.]
Load Returning too
much Power
As above the load returns too much power. Check the continuous regeneration energy
return, using the Hand-Held Terminal '?LRR' command. [If a vertical load is carried, a
counterbalance may be needed. Alternatively a larger sized T200, with extra regenerative
power capability may be required. See Section 3.13 for ratings.]
High Line Voltage/
Incorrect
Transformer Tap
The line voltage at TB2 is too high. Measure the a.c. mains voltage at TB2 of the T200-
X10 (unit with integral PSU).
Check the step down transformer, to see if the tap off the secondary side of the transformer
is at the correct position.
[Install a step down transformer.

Correct the transformer wiring.]
