T200 User's Manual SECTION 10: TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE
PAGE 10-6
10.2.2 Fault Type: DC-Bus-Active LED is not Lighting
Table 2: Causes of DC-Bus-Active LED not lighting
Cause Check/[Correction]
a.c. Mains not
Applied (T200-X10
Units ONLY)
Check Mains Applied LED status. If this is not lit then the DC-Bus-Active LED cannot be
illuminated. [Corrections as per Fault Type: Mains-Applied LED is not lighting (T200-X10
ONLY)]
Regeneration Fuse
Blown (T200-X10
Units ONLY)
Check for F3 Fault on the 7-segment display that indicates that the internal regeneration
resistor fuse is blown.
Repeated a.c. mains power-on cycles within a short period will cause repeated softstart
cycles. These will eventually cause the fuse to be blown.
WARNING: The T200 should never be opened. Consult Moog
Applications Engineering for help on replacement of the fuse.
[Reduce the frequency of power-on/off cycles to be less than one cycle every 4.5 seconds.
Alternatively reduce the number of T200-X00's (units without integral High-Power PSU)]
which are connected to the T200-X10 (unit with integral High-Power PSU).]
Too Many T200-X00
Units Connected to
DC-Bus
Too many T200-X00 Units connected to the T200-X10 unit will cause the softstart
mechanism to malfunction. Note that a maximum of 4 T200-X00 units can be connected to
a T200-X10 unit [Reduce the number of T200-X00's (units without integral High-Power
PSU) which are connected to the T200-X10 (unit with integral High-Power PSU)].
DC-Bus Fuse Blown
in T200-X10
The DC-Bus Active LED does not light in T200-X00's, but does light in T200-X10's.
[Check the DC-Bus wiring interconnect to all connected T200-X00 units, as outlined in
Section 3. In particular check that the DC-Bus wiring from the T200-X10's TB3 connector
has not been reversed in polarity when connected to the T200-X00's TB2 connector, or that
DC+ and DC- terminals have not been connected to PE (protective earth). ]
WARNING: The T200 should never be opened. Consult Moog
Applications Engineering for help on replacement of the DC-Bus output
fuse.
10.2.3 Fault Type: Regen-Active LED always lighting (T200-X10 ONLY)
Table 3: Causes of Regen-Active LED constantly illuminated
Cause Check/[Correction]
Logic Backup Power
is Applied, a.c.
Mains Voltage is
NOT Applied
Same checks and corrections as Fault Type: Mains-Applied LED is not lighting (T200-X10
ONLY)
